The Challenge
Advice is given from memory on a field visit and the reason it was given is lost by harvest. It persists because soil results, scouting notes and application records sit with three different people.
How It Works
- Reads soil test results, scouting notes, application records, yield maps and field boundaries.
- Links each observation to the field, crop stage and prior applications, then ranks actions.
- Puts a dated per-field recommendation with its evidence in the agronomist's visit list.
What It Removes
- Re-reading paper scouting books before each visit
- Hand-copying soil results into advice sheets
- Rebuilding spray history when a query arrives
Input Data RequirementsSoil test results, scouting notes, spray and fertiliser application records, yield maps, field boundary files, variety and rotation plans
Output FormatPer-field recommendation with the records behind it, a season-long advice log per grower, and a flag list of fields with missing data
“We give the same advice twice because nobody can find what we told that grower last season”
