Optimise Rig Maintenance Windows to reduce downtime and extend asset life
Fills the maintenance plan page: every movable change-out, and the idle window it should move into.

The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a change-out inside a paid contract, a part ordered after the window closed, and a window no published report shows. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine reads the maintenance and recertification record for every rig against the contract calendar and the parts lead time.
- It separates the fixed from the movable: a regulatory recert date does not move, a component change-out often can.
- For each movable item it finds the window where the rig is already idle, and counts the contract days at risk if the work lands mid-job.
What It Removes
- A change-out inside a paid contract
- A part ordered after the window closed
- A window no published report shows
Input Data RequirementsAsset register, telemetry, work orders, inspection history, failure records, parts usage and operating schedules
Output FormatDashboard showing every movable change-out, and the idle window it should move into.
“Tell me which of these change-outs can wait for the rig's own idle window.”
