The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a late call on a rig with no future, upgrades aimed by memory, and capital spread evenly, not sharply. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- One engine holds a single record for each of the 184 rigs: class, upgrades fitted, contract history, margin per day, recertification dates, retirement risk and the customers who ask for it by name.
- It ranks every candidate upgrade, reactivation and retirement by expected contracted margin for each dollar of capital, and shows what was given up to fund it.
- Routes the source-linked result to the named owner for review and action.
What It Removes
- A late call on a rig with no future
- Upgrades aimed by memory
- Capital spread evenly, not sharply
