The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a team starting from nothing on known work, the same lesson learned twice, and a precedent only one person remembers. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- One engine indexes every project the firm has delivered by scope, client type, discipline mix, location, size and outcome.
- Given a new pursuit, it returns the twenty most similar ones, what each was estimated at, what each really cost and took, what changed and what went wrong.
- It feeds the estimating engine and the pursuit team from the same index.
What It Removes
- A team starting from nothing on known work
- The same lesson learned twice
- A precedent only one person remembers
