Carbon Ledger. One figure, three regulators.
One ledger takes gas, electricity, acid and zinc consumption by line, applies published factors, and produces the facility inventory and the periodic report MOCCAE requires, with a five-year record behind every number.

The Challenge
Every coil that leaves needs paperwork: a certificate of what it is, export documents that match the letter of credit, and now a carbon figure for European customers. Three teams produce them from the same facts. An EU buyer with no verified figure pays a mark-up on the default: 10 per cent this year, 20 next, 30 from 2028.
How It Works
- Reads and connects the source records named in the proposal.
- One ledger takes gas, electricity, acid and zinc consumption by line, applies published factors, and produces the facility inventory and the periodic report MOCCAE requires, with a five-year record behind every number. Once the coil record exists it allocates emissions per coil, adds the declared emissions of the substrate, and issues the verified per-consignment figure EU customers need. The mill test certificate is drafted from the same record.
- Publishes a source-linked recommendation for Quality Manager approval and records the decision.
What It Removes
- Three teams, three carbon figures
- EU customers paying a default mark-up
- A certificate assembled by hand
