The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a barrel routed by habit, a frac sourced while water spills, and a disposal well near its limit. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine routes each barrel to least cost across the gathering network, respecting injection pressure limits, well capacity and recycle demand, and matches the completion calendar against produced water by node.
- It maps public seismic events to each disposal well and pre-computes the contingency route a restricted well would need.
- The routing saving is San Mateo's cost; the recycle saving is stated net of the disposal fee San Mateo no longer earns.
What It Removes
- A barrel routed by habit
- A frac sourced while water spills
- A disposal well near its limit
Input Data RequirementsRelevant operational records, contracts, transactions, schedules, documents and outcome history named in the source proposal
Output FormatOne board: every barrel, its route, the disposal well, the recycle match.
“Where should the next barrel of water go, and what if that well is capped?”
