The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate Points lost to gas quality, diesel fallback with no reason, and one load counted in two places. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- One record per fleet day: gas delivered, methane number at the meter, substitution achieved, diesel burned, and a named reason for every point not substituted.
- The engine separates supply causes from engine and control causes, ranks fleets by points recoverable, and tells the fuelling team which pad needs a different gas before the fleet gets there.
- It carries the LPI margin on the volume it moves.
What It Removes
- Points lost to gas quality
- Diesel fallback with no reason
- One load counted in two places
Input Data RequirementsFuel purchases, meter or engine-load data, operating hours, power-source data, invoices and emissions factors
Output FormatDashboard showing substitution by fleet by day, methane number at the meter, and the gap.
“I know why every point of gas was lost, and whether it was the gas or the engine.”
