The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a contract end date nobody planned for, cold iron warmed for a job that slipped, and idle equivalents nothing published ranks. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine keeps one register of horsepower by class, yard and state: working, warm, cold, or rolling off a contract.
- It reads contract end dates, customer completion schedules, published Permian rig counts and the bid file, then ranks each idle or expiring block by the customer most likely to take it and when.
- It counts warm-up time and crew, so a re-let carries a real start date, and names an approver before iron is warmed.
What It Removes
- A contract end date nobody planned for
- Cold iron warmed for a job that slipped
- Idle equivalents nothing published ranks
