The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate Idle units no published list ranks, make-ready spend with no return test, and a shop slot given to the wrong unit. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine reads every idle unit: size, drive type, business unit, condition, the date it came off contract, its make-ready state and the last quote against it.
- It scores each on margin per make-ready dollar, net of the make-ready spend, and on days to a contracted start, then sequences the shop slots against sales demand.
- Shortlisted horsepower is excluded from the acceleration term, so none is counted twice.
What It Removes
- Idle units no published list ranks
- Make-ready spend with no return test
- A shop slot given to the wrong unit
