The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate Iron idle in the quieter yard, redress called by calendar, not wear, and rent-in when the fleet had the tool. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine holds a part-level register: motor, power section, bearing pack, MWD probe, Devil Dog pin, Freedom Track sub.
- Each unit carries its hours, its temperature exposure, its redress history and its yard.
- It calls the redress on condition instead of the calendar, positions iron between the two yards against the next four weeks of rigs, and says when a rent-in beats a move.
What It Removes
- Iron idle in the quieter yard
- Redress called by calendar, not wear
- Rent-in when the fleet had the tool
Input Data RequirementsAsset register, telemetry, work orders, inspection history, failure records, parts usage and operating schedules
Output FormatDashboard showing every motor, probe and sub, its hours, its yard and its next redress.
“I see the motor, its hours and the yard it sits in, before I promise it to a rig.”
