The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate an order built in the wrong shop, hours booked to no routing, and outside processing bought late. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- One record per order operation: the routing, the work centre, the standard hours, the hours booked, the outside processing bought and the test slot reserved.
- The engine compares the routing against what the shops actually did, proposes the site and cell that can build each order first at the lowest landed cost, and holds the test slot with it.
- It reads the shop time bookings and the routing file.
