The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a slip found at the gate, air freight as the only fix, and revenue that slips a quarter. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine reads the works orders, the machining queue at each plant, the vendor promise dates, the inspection records and the freight bookings, and forecasts the delivery date for every open subsea package each night.
- When the forecast crosses the promised date it names the constraint: a machine cell, a vendor part, a test slot or a shipping lane.
- It ranks the fixes by days won and cost, including whether air freight is worth it.
What It Removes
- A slip found at the gate
- Air freight as the only fix
- Revenue that slips a quarter
