The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a hundred days of cover funded from your own cash, ordering against a spreadsheet, and newness that arrives after the peak. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- One engine forecasts demand by line and by store from sales history, seasonality, the Christmas peak, the promotion calendar and member behaviour.
- It turns that forecast into a buy plan and a replenishment plan, and it prices the working capital that each decision ties up or releases.
- Cutting cover from 102 days to about 90 releases roughly 4.4 million pounds, once.
What It Removes
- A hundred days of cover funded from your own cash
- Ordering against a spreadsheet
- Newness that arrives after the peak
