The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a call priced outside its history, a berth window nobody costed, and a gang hour nobody counted. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine normalises the cost of every call by the cbm handled, the cargo mix and the vessel class, then ranks terminals and berth windows against their own history.
- It raises an alert when a call is priced or performing outside that history, in time for the tariff talk.
- Engine 01 takes the cbm gained from a better stow; this engine takes terminal choice, tariff, berth window and gang, so no dollar is counted twice.
What It Removes
- A call priced outside its history
- A berth window nobody costed
- A gang hour nobody counted
