The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate an order whose engine date slipped, a shipped unit with no attach, and a quarter end nobody watched. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- A clock on every backlog order: the OEM engine promise date and its slip history, long-lead items, site readiness, commissioning crew, and the revenue at risk of crossing a quarter end, with the one action that moves it.
- Beside it an attach engine that reads the as-built record of every shipped unit and raises the service quote before the warranty closes.
- Boundary: this engine stops at handover; the Service Order Engine starts at the first service order.
What It Removes
- An order whose engine date slipped
- A shipped unit with no attach
- A quarter end nobody watched
Input Data RequirementsFuel purchases, meter or engine-load data, operating hours, power-source data, invoices and emissions factors
Output FormatThe Branch Board, backlog half. A clock per order and the one action that moves it.
“Which orders slip out of this quarter, and what one move pulls them back?”
