The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a run that sails half full, a movement with no cost, and a base nobody can compare. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- A movement ledger that prices every shipment end to end, shows cost per unit by base, lane and cargo type, and consolidates lanes served twice.
- Over it: a ten-day run optimiser across all islands and bases, a rolling 13-week unit forecast built from requisitions rather than the stated plan, and a pick and backload engine matching returns against open demand.
- Boundary: Engine 02 takes the vessel-day inside the run, Engine 04 takes the invoice.
