The Challenge
The opportunity is to eliminate a wash the previous grade did not need, a slop tank full at the wrong port, and a grade pair no standard table covers. The proposed workflow is source-linked, but the current operating baseline and financial value remain illustrative until validated with the client.
How It Works
- The engine learns the real cleaning time and cost for each grade pair from the ships' own cleaning logs and wash cycles, not from the standard table.
- It scores every candidate next parcel on the wash it forces, the water, chemicals, heat and slops it burns, the disposal port it commits the ship to, and the hours it takes off the clock.
- It then proposes the loading order that keeps most tanks open for the best paying grades.
What It Removes
- A wash the previous grade did not need
- A slop tank full at the wrong port
- A grade pair no standard table covers

“Tell me what this tank can load next without a full wash, and what the wash would cost me.”
